Koreatown

The fastest up-and-coming neighborhood in Los Angeles, Koreatown home to some of the finest fare and lively nightlife on the east side (and it’s the birthplace of Urbanbias). Within the parameters of this small enclave is a host of LA historical landmarks, from the Brown Derby, to the grounds of the Ambassador Hotel (now Robert F. Kennedy High School), to a bevy of New York style brownstones and hotels. Hometown hero, Roy Choi is one of many who have contributed to the growing recognition of this modest neighborhood as a major player in the LA food scene and it’s popularity grows daily.
